Moves
Moving a pool table is more involved than it may seem. To ensure no damage is done to the table, or the people moving it, we disassemble it completely. Slates will be removed and loaded safely to prevent cracking. Rails are wrapped to prevent scratching. Pockets are removed to prevent deformation. The frame of the table and the legs will be covered as well. Upon delivery the table will be set-up completely (including leveling) and ready for play as soon as we finish.
Set-Up/Tear-Down
Set up is just what it sounds like. When you order a new table, or if you have moved your table to your new home and need someone to put it together properly for you, we can certainly help.
Tear Down is when you need the table taken apart for various reasons (moving and home renovations are the most common reasons) give us a call.
Precision Leveling
A level pool table is crucial for fair and accurate gameplay. When a pool table is not level, the balls will roll unevenly, making it difficult to predict their path and affecting shot accuracy. This can lead to inaccurate shots and frustration, especially for serious players aiming for precision. We use Starrett 98 machinist levels to ensure your tables slate is perfectly flat, level, and flush with each other piece. We then glue the seams to prevent separation over time and seal the seams with beeswax to create a smooth transition from piece to piece during play.
Re-Covers
To put it simply, new cloth installation. If you need to replace the felt/cloth on your table, let us handle it for you. Before you purchase your new cloth, contact us for a quote. We may be able to get you a better deal. If you are a business looking for a promotional custom printed cloth, we can facilitate that as well.
Cushion Install
Occasionally the cushions on your table may need to be replaced. It normally takes years for them to go bad, but certain conditions can shorten the lifespan. You'll know they've gone bad when they feel rock hard or just don't seem to be springy anymore.
Sub-Rail Extensions
When you want to make pocketing balls more challenging, you tighten the pockets! This year (2024, for posterity) at the U.S. Open 9-Ball Championship, the corner pocket openings measure in at 4 inches. Standard pockets at most pool rooms and on home tables is 5-inches! Level up your game today! Extensions available in 0.25-inch increments.
